My Morning Routine
A good morning routine isn’t about rushing through steps — it’s about creating a small, sensory reset that makes you feel clean, grounded, and ready.
This is my scent-first ritual. Every step has options, because your skin, your hair, and your mood change day to day.
Step 1: Cleanse the face (choose your path)
Start with a cleanse that matches how your skin feels:
-
Citrus Silk Facial Cleanser for a bright, clean, classic daily cleanse. Classic surfactant based formula using natural low foaming surfactants, no chemical nasties or SLS.
-
Squalane Cleanser for a softer, more cushiony, comfort-first cleanse, oil based formula. > See how oil can cleanse, even if it seems counterintuitive.
This is the first “pause” of the day: massage the cleanser in for 30–60 seconds, breathe in the scent, then rinse.
Step 2: Wash the hair (four options)
Your shampoo depends on what your scalp needs:
-
Alkali (Gel) for a more clarifying feel. This is a powerful oil and sebum stripper and leaves the hair squeaky clean. Use if you are concerned about hair loss and regrowing new hair. See the latest research here > “Scalp cleaning is a supportive factor – it improves conditions for hair growth rather than acting as a direct growth stimulant.”
-
Alkali (Cream) for a richer, more nourishing cleanse. Softer than the gel, but just as effective at releasing oils and sebum from the hair. See research article linked above.
-
Peppermint Au Naturel for a fresh, clean wake-up, invigorating the senses.
-
Sacred Resin Hydration Shampoo for comfort and hydration.
Step 3: Condition — and leave it in
Condition next, and here’s the trick: leave your conditioner in while you cleanse your body.
-
Vetiver & Cilantro for deep nourishment and an earthy sensory experience.
-
Soft Mornings & Calm Evenings, pH-balanced toward the acidic, which seals the cuticle fast, leaving your hair silky, smooth, and shiny.
That extra time is where softness happens — and the scent really settles.
Step 4: Cleanse the body (two options)
Now cleanse the body:
-
Bergamot Hand & Body Wash for bright, everyday clean. This signature scent is what made our brand and what people can’t get enough of.
-
Whipped Emulsified Coffee Scrub when you want exfoliation plus full sensory overload (scent + texture + touch). Your skin will feel so soft after this, you won’t be able to stop touching it.
Why we use a loofah or silicone scrubber
Our formulas use natural surfactants, which often need help foaming. A classic mesh loofah or silicone body scrubber creates friction and aeration — meaning better lather, better spread, and a more satisfying cleanse.
Important hygiene note: mesh loofahs should be disinfected regularly to reduce bacteria build-up.
(Both options are available on our website.)
Step 5: Rinse out the conditioner
Once the body is cleansed, rinse the conditioner out.
Step 6: Moisturise (only if needed)
If you used the Whipped Coffee Scrub, you can usually skip moisturiser. Your skin will be so soft and nourished that moisturiser becomes unnecessary.
If you used the Bergamot Wash, follow with:
-
Bergamot Hand & Body Moisturiser (Light), or
-
Simple Hydrating Lotion, or
-
Simple Hydrating Dry Oil
Step 7: Finish the face
You’ve already cleansed, so now it’s glow and seal:
Apply Vitamin C Brightening Serum or Vitamin C Brightening Emulsion.
Seal it in with moisturiser:
-
Day: Simple Hydrating Lotion (lightweight)
-
Winter: Helichrysum & Chamomile Hand + Face Moisturiser (richer)
Step 8: Neutralise + fragrance
Apply Blanc Base (powder or cream) to underarms.
Tip: if using the cream, apply when slightly damp for easier spread.
Finish with Organic Perfume Oil on pulse points.
My picks are "If" or "Sol Vanille Reverie".
That’s the ritual: not just mindlessly cleaning...
